• Taylor Tribute: Wild Card in Skins vs. Giants
A few years back, the Giants handed the Redskins one of the most lopsided defeats?36-0? in the history of this great rivalry. Commentators attributed the result to the fact that Giants owner Wellington Mara, a beloved figure for the G-men, had just recently passed away. The guys were playing this one for their man. On Sunday, the Redskins are planning a pre-game tribute to the late, great Sean Taylor, the hard-hitting safety who was shot to death a year ago in his Miami home. Will the Skins t

100 Words: Giants (10-1) at Redskins (7-4) By John Woods Each week, The Times asks the bloggers who cover opposing teams to break down the coming game for the Giants ? in 100 words or less. (Give or take a few rants.) In this edition, we examine the Giants? game against the Redskins on Sunday (1 p.m. Eastern on Fox). Guy Damrosch is a featured contributor of the Redskins blog Riggo?s Rag. He has given himself the terribly pedestrian nickname ?Redskins Guy? despite the fact that he detests
• Redskin Motivation
The Redskins are sitting in second place in the NFC east and looking up at the Giants. If that isn?t enough motivation for the game on November 30th, there is this: The Redskins plan on putting, slain safety Sean Taylor, in their Ring of Honor that day. Certainly emotions will be running high for fans and players alike. Clinton Portis and Sean Taylor were great friends, so no doubt this will be an emotional day for the star running back. Many Giants fan?s fear the ceremony may motivate the
• Quality Touchback: Strahan Edition
Glazer soooo wants to put this in his ReportWhat a dreadful weekend on the gridiron for my favorite teams. First of all, I?m not gonna knock Texas Tech at all. They played a great game and kudos to them for showing up with so much fire. They really deserved to win. Even after Texas had scored that touchdown with a minute and a half left, I had a feeling the Horns were still in trouble. Although Will Muschamp is Godhovah, I knew that Texas Tech could move the ball quickly, and they did; even if

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
