David Lawrence: Thank you so much for tuning into the show. I appreciate it very, very much. Our toll free telephone number you can jump in right now and get on the air if you want to. Our toll free telephone is 180039 online. 18003966546 if you want to talk about Windows XP, any of the former versions of Windows, Mac OS X, Mac Classic even want to talk about Tiger. You want to talk about the features of Tiger, Panther, Jaguar. Questions about hardware, Intel based hardware, Macintosh hardware from Apple. You want to talk about iPods, cell phones, any cell phone calls tonight? I am still proud owner of the Treo650 but rumors that I am hearing now is that Apple may be putting phone capabilities in the next generation of the iPod. It*s a pretty natural progression for them.

Max: Its going to be interesting to see because of their type deal with Motorola and.

David Lawrence: I wonder how Motorola*s skewing down after this whole wap across the face with Intel.

Max: I actually have an interesting thing that came up with 4.9 if you want to talk about it.

David Lawrence: iTunes 4.9?

Max: Yeah if you sync a certain brand of Motorola phone it will popup an iTunes and it will say iPod phone.

David Lawrence: --capable of that right. Really?

Voice: Yes so that you would be able to sync.

David Lawrence: Which one?

Max: But this is what*s interesting. I think that in the future Apple*s not going to have to deal with those carriers because Apple is going to offer iTunes mobile downloaded as a Java applet to any mobile phone and the carriers would be unable to block it. So Cingular and Verizon and Sprint all the people would say no we don*t want this phone because you are going to bypass our music download, are going to have an issue when the customer downloads it and chooses to use that software anyway.

David Lawrence: So that*s a J2EE thing or a BRUE thing or what is that?

Max: I am not exactly sure, but iTunes mobile 1.0 is based on but I think it is Java based.

David Lawrence: Wow.

Max: And you can already see that some of the Motorola phones are already iding with iTunes 4.9.

David Lawrence: That*s interesting because that means that Apple has done something that very few other companies have been able to do and that is to get around the gatekeeper that is the carrier.

Max: Right.

David Lawrence: I mean the Verizon, this is the great thing. I was approached by my agent this week about doing Ringbacks, Ringtones on hold stuff, Voicemail announcements, stuff that I have been doing for a long time. Well now if I want to create this for the different carriers I get money everytime somebody downloads them or pays their monthly fees. So this is an ongoing income stream if I write goofy funny stuff that you know I have been doing forever, the guy that wrote the Booty Call you know your phone rings and it goes Booty Call.

Max: Oh yeah.

David Lawrence: He makes $40,000 a month.

Max: Oh my gosh.

David Lawrence: On that ring.
