Paddy: Okay so you would recommend an external, there is not really internal that I can have someone installed in the G3?
David Lawrence: Well again.
Max: I don*t think that far back they would have an aftermarket at that point factor. But you can always look at an iBook or an external.
David Lawrence: Yeah.
Paddy: Okay.
David Lawrence: I mean obviously the best I mean you just take this around everywhere. You said you are a music educator so is this to when you are doing gigs or something? I am not quite sure you know if you are concerned about ultimate portability than you want to get a machine that has the CD burner built in.
Paddy: Occasionally most of the time in my office I do have computers that are provided by the school but what I am doing mostly is personal things that I am doing at home.
David Lawrence: Okay so but again you don*t have to go out on the roads. You can always have the CD burner the external burner at home, right. And then you can just plug it in FireWire wires right into the FireWire port. And so it might be a good idea for you to think about getting an external because they are cheaper than the small ones. A larger external a Sony you know you can pick them up for like 79 bucks.
Paddy: Oh great.
David Lawrence: So that*s you know and all you want to do is burn CDs not DVDs. So that*s why they are so inexpensive.
Paddy: Okay.
David Lawrence: Okay?
Paddy: Thank you.
David Lawrence: I appreciate the call and thanks for listening. Bye, bye. 180039 online is our telephone number. It is about quarter to the hour. After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
