David Lawrence: So you get like two or three hits for your buck because you are not only getting a new drive that*s going to be under warranty but you are also getting a professional to install it and you are getting them to test it so that it works right.
Kenry: What exactly does a bad block mean?
Max: So I have replaced mine several times and luckily I had the tab so I could remove my.
Kenry: Right.
David Lawrence: I am kind of really tough on my notebooks. So what happens is the laser reflects off the surface and then it is captured by a mirror, right a sensor and I have jarred mine enough times where I have had to replace my CD several times to get it to work just because I am really rough on it. So that kind of thing is pretty precise alignment. In my opinion mine got out of alignment often and that*s why I had to replace them.
Kenry: Okay.
David Lawrence: The problem is the error leads you to believe that there is an issue with the CD and not the CD drive. So bad block usually means there is bad data on the media. But in this case it*s usually an indicator that the drive is out of alignment it*s not working properly and so on. If you ever hear that on a hard drive that*s pretty good indication that there is something wrong with the platter itself, not the drive but with a CD or DVD. So I would just replace it.
Kenry: Well thank you for your help. At least I know now from an expert.
David Lawrence: Alright and I appreciate your service to the local Blythe community.
Kenry: Thank you very much and take care.
David Lawrence: Thanks for the call alright bye, bye. 180039 online is our telephone number. Quarter past the hour back with more Online Tonight.
David Lawrence: Okay this is driving me crazy. So if it says to feed it, excuse me one moment ladies and gentlemen. If it says in the iTunes Music Store the feed has already been submitted that doesn*t mean it*s been approved yet, right?
Max: It means it*s at a stage where you can update the information. So we put in ours really late last night and then today at 8 o clock.
David Lawrence: We are talking about submitting Podcasts to Apple iTunes so that it can be shown up, showing up in the iTunes Music Store and doing it properly so that we can see the artwork. So at this point I can see whether the artwork is to be.
Max: Correct.
David Lawrence: Okay.
Max: And so at 8 this morning we tried the exact seeing URL and it allowed us to resubmit it because we hadn*t got into that part in the process where they had locked that URL in. So you are getting further along then.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
