David Lawrence: Wait, where in the desert are you pulled over?
Kenry: Well I actually I live in a little town called Parker Arizona.
David Lawrence: Parker.
Kenry: Yeah but I work in California. So I drive an hour to work and I have obvious time to listen to you.
David Lawrence: What is it like just over the border in Arizona or something?
Kenry: Right it*s up along the Colorado River.
David Lawrence: Wow and what do you do for living?
Kenry: I am a sheriff dispatcher. I work with Riverside County sheriff. I am the 911 operator.
David Lawrence: Wow so then you are in Max*s territory.
Max: So you drive to Needles or San Bernardino?
Kenry: No I drive to Blythe actually.
Max: Okay.
David Lawrence: Blythe alright there you go. Well that*s terrific. So which division of the sheriff*s department are you with?
Kenry: I am with Blythe station in Riverside County.
David Lawrence: Alright how can I help you?
Kenry: Well I have got a Crown Victoria. I have a Dell Inspiron 8200 I have had for 2 years now and it has a DVD/CDRW combination drive and I can play DVDs fine. Everything else seems to work fine but for some reason I cannot get any kind of software to actually download or actually start playing. It*s kind of like I hear it not grinding but like it kind of wants to start up and then doesn*t. So I was reading, I am through into your site that kind of led me down another path and I read something that said to check, go to where you can check the air log and I just find back in May there was a CD ROM error that said something about block. And I was wondering if you could help me out with that. Does that mean that my hard drive ---?
David Lawrence: Alright let me make sure I have this all straight. You are trying to run software off a DVD?
Kenry: No, no actually what I was trying to do was to do a clean install of Windows XP.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
