Howard: Well I am having a little problem with my Bank online. And what happens is when I go online to do online banking there is a link that I can click on a check number. And it*s supposed to display an image of the check.
David Lawrence: Which bank is this?
Howard: This is the Bank of Alameda which is a local bank.
David Lawrence: Okay.
Howard: Okay.
David Lawrence: Where are you listening to the show?
Howard: I am listening the show on KNEW.
David Lawrence: Awesome in San Francisco thank you. Alright so Bank of Alameda it*s a small bank so maybe they don't have things setup right. But tell me more.
Howard: Okay well what happens is when I click on the check and it comes up with a pop-up thing and instead of the image of the check what I get is like a red X in a box in the upper left hand corner.
David Lawrence: Here*s what I think is going on and by the way thank you for using the proper technical term pop-up thing.
Howard: Okay.
David Lawrence: That's exactly what it is. It*s a little pop-up window.
Howard: That's pop-up window.
David Lawrence: And here*s what*s going on. I am sure that your bank is a wonderful place to go. Yeah the building is probably gorgeous, probably built in a wonderful time and they --.
Howard: It*s a little tiny bank.
David Lawrence: Yeah little tiny bank right.
Howard: Yeah.
David Lawrence: And that means little tiny developers that maybe making a mistake about where they are putting their images. If you don't have your image on the same HTTPS enabled server and you have your Internet Explorer set system wise you know security wise not to display images or objects that are also not under the purview of the secure site they will not show up. And here*s--
Howard: Well how do I do that?
David Lawrence: Well you can't do anything about it. You have got to go to your bank and say hey dudes put your images on the secure server so they show up for me.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
