Jessie: Yes.

David Lawrence: Do what works right and don*t do what works wrong. I mean that*s pretty easy. The compatibility is not direct in terms of the file type so.

Max: Well so my understanding is that Final Cut Pro really wants DVD studio as its output device. So you are actually going from a Pro service product, Final Cut Pro very professional with markers and chapters and all that stuff. And then you are saying give me a consumer strip down version of iDVD which is wonderful for people like myself but not target it to the Final Cut Pro people. So the file format is going to be different. You might, I have had trouble saving from Final Cut Pro in DV format and then bringing it into iDVD. So I completely understand what you are saying in that area and there is probably some good forms and stuff we can point you to.

Jessie: So I actually need to upgrade my DVD authoring software is what you would say. Am I getting that correctly?

Max: Well Apple traditionally wants Final Cut Pro users to use DVD Studio and not iDVD.

Jessie: Okay.

David Lawrence: If you are using iMovie then iDVD is your choice.

Jessie: Okay.

David Lawrence: Alright?

Jessie: Yes because that*s what came with my G5. So I figured you know for some reason I figured well maybe it will all work together.

David Lawrence: Right now that*s the situation right there. I appreciate the call. Terry you are online tonight with David Lawrence.

Terry: Yes yesterday I was online with AOL and I have had 0.5 or a 5.0 in my computer.

David Lawrence: Right.

Terry: I ---

David Lawrence: You mean AOL 5.0, is that right?

Terry: 5.0 yeah.

David Lawrence: AOL 5.0.

Terry: Right.

David Lawrence: Okay.

Terry: And they wanted me to download the new 9.0.

David Lawrence: Optimizer.
