David Lawrence: The NFL and political superstars there you go. For those of you that have been listening to the show for as many years as I have been doing it or maybe if you know that I am a huge fanatic about the Declaration of Independence. On the July 4th show I read it live, I explain a lot of the words like usurpation and consanguinity and what not. And one of the most interesting words we are going to find this out because we have got some special Bookmark This tonight specifically for Independence Day 4th of July and the Declaration of Independence. One of the most interesting words in the entire document is the word *necessary*. When it is *necessary* it didn*t mean what it means today. It meant something special in colonial days. It didn*t mean just important or required but if you go back to the dictionary in those days you can find this on the web. It meant impelled by faith, by natural laws, impossible to fight or stop. In other words it was inevitable not just cool and perhaps we should it, it was inevitable. So when you think about why the document was written, what happened around it? It*s just an amazing piece of work the writing, the reception, how the people worried about it, voted on it and so on. And as we head into the holiday weekend here please don*t forget what the 4th of July is all about while you are eating your broths you know. The 4th of July, Declaration of Independence, our Nation*s history it*s all wrapped up. My name is David Lawrence. The show is about technology and pop culture. And so we have special Bookmark This, this show for those items. We talk about computers, the Internet, online services how to use them, how it effects our lives, how it changes us, and that means we can talk about everything from your Machintosh, your PC, SpyWare, online investing, the new Apple iTunes 4.9 which gives you Podcasting direct. We can talk about Podcasting how to put Podcasting together? How to do a Podcast? What kind of equipment you might need? How you can blog what you do and so on. And because it*s a holiday weekend and because Lily is off at a memorial for her father and mother, the folks from the Family Tech Show have stopped in to sort of fill, this is the show where it takes more than one person to do what Ms. Von Schtupp does. We have Victoria at the phone so that*s who you will be talking to when you call us on the toll free. And in studio with us is Max and this is the Smart Family from the Family Tech Show. Jennifer I am assuming is doing something smart.
Max: She is watching the Incredibles with the grandparents tonight and watching the dogs.
David Lawrence: Speaking of the Incredibles, you must have been the family that didn*t return your DVD. Did you hear the stories about how the Incredibles has the highest return rate of any DVD?
Max: Actually we did.
David Lawrence: In history?
Max: We returned our Incredibles DVD from the Disney Store and we went around to Walmart and bought it because we are a big fan of wide screen.
David Lawrence: Oh--
Max: And the Disney Store was only shipping full screen. But why do you buy from the Disney Store like 2 months in advance, because you get the great Lithos.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
