David Lawrence: It is 7 past the hour, hello there my name is David Lawrence and the name of the show is Online Tonight as the young lady just mentioned to you. We talk about computers, technology, pop culture, Macintoshes, PCs, Windows. Let*s see we have got PDAs, cell phones, mp3 players, portable combination devices anything that clicks and beeps and whirs and fits in your pocket or goes on your desktop or flips into your briefcase we take care of for you. So that*s what*s going on here on the show and we would love to have you involved. If you want to give me a call please feel free. Here is my toll free telephone number 180039 online 18003966546. That*s the number to jot down and use it to get on the air. We love questions from people having difficulties, people who have comments to make, people who are just looking for some basic help or for something to clarify what they are trying to get done with their electronics. And certainly when things come up and you need to comment on them we are here to comment on them. Certainly the events of this past week have been interesting. Apple, their stock is splitting for the first time ever, as far as I know. Apple is declaring a 2 for 1 split Ms. Von Schtupp mentioned before the show she goes I still have probably 2 shares hanging around my portfolio. I sure wish I had kept more you know and it*s all because of the iPod. The iPod is single handedly changing Apple as a company. Yeah they still make Macintoshes and they still have the Mac OS and all that stuff but the iPod is the new face of the company. The iTunes Music Store and the things that are going along with the iPod it*s an amazing transformation of the company. Also this week tons of things happened and we will get to those throughout the show. We have some special features to watch for the show. We will do something like Geek Speak that*s coming up in about 10 minutes or so where we take a tech term and turn it into plain English for you. We will do one of those in hour and then we also have Book Mark This. We take a very cool website and make sure you know all about it. Usually it*s a theme that Ms. Von Schtupp picks up on and talks about maybe the theme would be Valentines Day this week. I don*t know. I don*t know I don*t look on purpose. I like to be surprised. 10 minutes past the hour number 180039 online that*s our telephone number 18003966546. Conrad.
Conrad: Yes
David Lawrence: Hello.
Conrad: How are you doing?

David Lawrence is heard nightly as the wacky, eclectic and highly opinionated host of The David Lawrence Show, and weekend Online Tonight, network radio talk shows that revolves around pop culture and the high-tech lifestyle. The award-winning shows combine entertainment, information, interviews and news with the speed and humor of a Top-40 morning show.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
