Jason: Not bad I have had a little issue with my laptop over 18.
David Lawrence: Alright.
Jason: I think it's sure enough I was on KaZaa a couple of weeks ago and downloading these mp3s and -
David Lawrence: Are you just messing with me.
Jason: No I found the instructions on your website.
David Lawrence: Not on my website 180039 online is our telephone number David you are Online Tonight with David Lawrence hello.
David: Hello what was that all about?
David Lawrence: I don*t know.
David: Yeah I have a question about Podcasting I am interested in doing it but also would like to sort of advertise it for or whatever. But is there way to check like the subscriptions and how to show stats of who is downloading and how many and things like that?
David Lawrence: Sure you have your own server or you are virtually serving out some ISP or.
David: I would have my own server so that I figure it be an easier way to track it.
David Lawrence: Actually it doesn*t really matter what you have your own server or not it's just you can do it's easier for you to install Web Log Analysis Tools if you have your own machine. But actually what I would suggest you do is take the advantage of feed burner which is when I do for my Podcasts I would create a feed of the Podcast. Now let me backup before we get to that. How much do you know about how to Podcast, how to get the mp3 found together the RSS feed and so on?
David: Oh I know all that I have read about that on www.eastcoastbob.com.
David Lawrence: Okay great so www.eastcoastbob.com I love him alright so anyway what you do is go and burn a feed over at www.feedburner.com. If you go to www.feedburner.com you tell it your RSS feed URL and then it mirrors that it resends that and then you can use all of their very cool tools to determine how many people have subscribed in the last 24 hours, how many times you are getting things downloaded and if I haven*t talked on the show about coral yet *
David: What*s that music?

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
