Eileen: Yeah okay but when I put on this Microsoft I downloaded it, it cut off my Outlook Express and put on its own version of the E-mail and I don*t want that.
David Lawrence: Okay stop for just a second. Just to be clear, when you download Microsoft AntiSpyware it does not contain any other application. It does not now what may have happened is that during the process of downloading Microsoft AntiSpyware you were prompted to update the rest of your system software. And at that point it may have replaced any number of pieces of the software including a browser update, an E-mail update etc. But it should not have affected anything about your E-mail I mean you should still have the same accounts and the same E-mail you know in your saved E-mail and all that. Are you saying that was all replaced?
Eileen: No there, I just could not I have a dialup so I could not dial into my Outlook Express into my Core com which also has an AntiSpam where with the tools and may be that conflicted with it.
David Lawrence: You know I don*t think so. I think that may be what has happened and now that you have given me that piece of information is that the original dialup networking script that was created by you or your ISP or whoever set up your E-mail may not work with the new version of the software that you updated to. It may have gotten corrupted or it may just simply be looking for.
Eileen: Oh I put Service Pack II and.
David Lawrence: Okay so that is what updated your stuff not Microsoft AntiSpyware.
Eileen: Okay.
David Lawrence: Okay?
Eileen: Okay.
David Lawrence: So now what I would do is I would just go in and you may need your ISP to help you with this or I would get them on the phone while you do this.
Eileen: Okay.
David Lawrence: I would go and I would create a new dialup networking script to dial in. And they can start you from scratch to show you exactly how to do this. They will treat you as though you were a new customer with the ISP. Okay you are brand new here is how you start. And just call them up and say I need to be walked through this. And they should be able to help you out.
Eileen: Okay.
David Lawrence: Alright?
Eileen: Alright thank you very much.
David Lawrence: I appreciate the call. 180039 online is our telephone number, 18003966546. Again an open line available Alan.
Alan: Yes, hi David how are you?
David Lawrence: I am fine thank you for asking.
Alan: I am calling from Chicago. And I have been listening to you for a long time. I am not very sophisticated when it comes to this. But about a couple of months ago I put on the SpyBot and the Adware.
David Lawrence: Okay.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
