If you have got iChat on Macintosh or if you have got ICQ then you have to do the whole thing Lawrence@aol.com and that will get to me. E-mail, instant messages make them short and sweet so I can read them on the air. Here is a great one and this came from Steve Kane who says David, is there an actual way to boost a cell phone antenna signal. My wife is in a nursing home and her phone of Samsung SGH-x427M service by Cingular constantly drops the signal if she even has one. Can the phone be adjusted or do we need to save up and get another phone? Thanks for your help, regards Steve Kane. Here is the issue especially in medical facilities like nursing homes and whatnot, there is often so much of electronic equipment around that getting any signal to stay stable is an iffy proposition. You are talking about certain number of low number of watts or milliwatts depending upon the strength of the actual phone itself. And there is a difference between transmission strength of the signal and reception capabilities. The ability of the phone to actually receive a signal to complete a call. So you have got a number of issues that you are dealing with here and I don*t think that having a cell phone in a facility like that and trying to mess around with the power is a good idea for the other patients. Because there will be medical equipments that gets filed up, there maybe a notification equipments they gets filed up and so on. The FCC is the government organization that takes care of all this stuff. So you know they have rules in place about this sort of thing. And it*s not good to go in and start messing about with that. Now, being close to a window often helps when you are making calls. And also on calling Cingular and saying hey can you tell me about the towers near me is that a lost cause. It may be worth looking at other carriers. I for one left skid marks getting away from Sprint. Because where my studio is here in Los Angeles they basically lied to me and said oh you are right underneath the tower. Well I can*t hold a signal on a Sprint cell phone. I can't even get one bar on the Sprint cell phone. So if I am under a tower then the transmitter is turned off. They switch to Verizon boom. I am good to go four bars baby so you know and it was a long drawn out thing where they basically said I am stupid I don*t know what I am talking about and I was just really calm and just said okay, yeah, no more money of mine goes of Sprint. So you might look to other services to see if they have closer towers, see if you can get a better signal you might have a friend who has a cell phone with one of the other carriers come to you where your wife stays and see if they can get a better signal. So that*s what I would do. And I wouldn*t and that wouldn*t pay the $9 or $10 for this little stick & apply you know antenna booster things, they don*t work. They don*t work well at all. It*s a waste of money in fact sharper image stop selling them because they were shown to them as they don*t work. So you know that*s what I would do I would look to another carrier I wouldn*t try to change the power on the phone itself. 180039 online 18003966546 Dock you are Online Tonight with David Lawrence hello sir.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
