Instant message from Dsmcu. Hi David any suggestions for a Windows based program for editing the length of an mp3 file, looking for a simple basic program to cut out and save segments of a recording of a speech, don*t need lot of recording features. Well I suggest that if you don*t want to go to the expense of buying either ProTools which is what I use and it runs quite nicely on Windows XP or what is now called Adobe Audition used to be called Cool Edit Pro when Syntrillium was off on its own before they sold themselves to Adobe. That*s about $300. Go and find the program called Audacity. It*s actually our Bookmark This for this hour and we will give you the exact URL in about half an hour. So you can prepare. You can go grab a piece of paper and a pen but Audacity is free and it*s perfect. You can pull the mp3 file in and edit out the waveform and take it down to what you want. Then put it back out as an mp3 file. So there you go Audacity is very cool. Let*s go to Ruby. Ruby you are Online Tonight with David Lawrence, hello.
Ruby: Hi how are you?
David Lawrence: Fine how can I help you?
Ruby: Well I am having problems with eBay. I go south for the winter and I have not been on eBay since last September because the time element doesn*t allow me neither to process anything.
David Lawrence: What*s the problem?
Ruby: The problem is eBay is asking me for $10 and 32 cents.
David Lawrence: How do you know?

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
