David Lawrence: Well the generic, the general category of this kind of software is Anti-Spyware software and for you Jerry and for others that are listening these are the only three items that you should currently be using on your machine. #1 you shouldn*t be paying for Anti-Spyware software. You can if you want better performance on the ones that I will recommend in just a moment. But you don*t have to pay for it and I would stay as far away from the stuff that you see in the store or other people hawking online as you possibly can. These three items are the best cocktail that you can use against Spyware. #1 Adaware, and you can Google these things to get the correct domains for them. Spybot Search & Destroy. And then the third one is Microsoft*s Anti Spyware software. Microsoft*s Anti-Spyware software has a setting in it by the way that will automatically watch your machine and update itself as well to keep it clean. It*s the old GIANT Anti Spyware. And they have done a tremendous job of keeping, I would get that as quickly as possible.
Jerry: But how much it cost, and the price for those?
David Lawrence: Again I am going to repeat myself because you must not have been listening, they are all free.
Jerry: Oh!
David Lawrence: You don*t pay for them.
Jerry: Oh!
David Lawrence: You know what you shouldn*t be paying for you know Spy Sweeper and anything that pops up on the screen and says you are infected and you should buy me. Get as far away from it as possible because that*s actually Spyware infecting your machine with the audacity of saying you need to clean up Spyware.
Jerry: So where can I get it exactly just.
David Lawrence: Again google, here are the sites Ad-Aware is at www.lavasoftusa.com.
Jerry: Okay.
David Lawrence: SpyBot Search and Destroy has several sites that you can get them from again Google the phrases that I have given you Ad-Aware SpyBot Search and Destroy. Microsoft*s Anti Spyware is available at www.microsoft.com/download.
Jerry: Okay.
David Lawrence: It*s the most downloaded thing on their site right now. So it*s right at the top of the list.
Jerry: Excellent.
David Lawrence: Alright.
Jerry: Thanks now.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
