David Lawrence: I appreciate the call. Yeah I do that all the time I mean I can certainly install my own memory I could install my own hard drive. Many times I crack the case on a computer. I think to myself okay do I really want to risk this or can I let some guy who does it all day long and you can do it fallen out of bed at the store do it for me. And by the way you know what I have noticed, whenever I swam mom and pop stores or chains for not giving good service they always call me about that but they never call me or write me when I say hey take your machine in and have them put memory into your hard drives you know because you know what I hear from then, I hear from the techies who say why do you tell people to do that they can do it themselves. You know what I can do it myself and I don*t and I urge you to let someone who is a professional do it. It*s the cheapest insurance you can buy. It really is. 180039 online is our telephone number Scott you are Online Tonight with David Lawrence. Hello.

Scott: Hi

David Lawrence: Hi there.

Scott: Yeah we have a small wireless network in our office. 3 XP machines and a printer and every time I install Norton Security System it disables access file when I install it on the Maxtor it disables access from the other machines to and then shared file then to the printer.

David Lawrence: And it surprises you somehow.

Scott: Yeah

David Lawrence: Well it shouldn*t. What you are doing is you are installing a security system and the default settings where the security system is to keep that machine secure from all other machines out there. So what you need to do is read the manual on how to set up services in XP number 1. This is XP Pro I am assuming.

Scott: Yeah.

David Lawrence: Services as well as service visors which allow that the different machines to you know get to share holders to services to the printer and so on you got to familiarize yourself with the product. It*s not going to work right out of the box. Back in a moment.

David Lawrence: Hey it*s David Lawrence and Bob Parsons who is the President & Founder of GoDaddy who you have been listening to during the show. He asked me to help him get Radio GoDaddy started and to reach out the folks like you because it*s important to him and to the people to work for the company to have informed and involved customers. You can get all the details on this show at www.radiogodaddy.com but the more you know about the Internet how it effects you how you can succeed by being a part of it the more likely you are to become a GoDaddy customer that*s all there is to it. Now apart from that I can*t think of any company or chief executive more willing to step up an address contentious and often polarizing issues. Its part of his nature. Check out www.bobparsons.com as well as the new site he has set up at the www.dangerofnoprivacy.com. I joined with Bob at GoDaddy and am urging you to get involved. Think of the Internet as you would your home town or your country, your voice could help make you the place you want to be. Go to www.GoDaddy.com if you buy anything there use David as your check out code get a dollar off that*s www.GoDaddy.com.
