Now this is also self powered, it actually uses a watch battery and this is a Lavalier Mic. This is actually what you see news casters using it you know pinned onto their collars or onto their lapels. And it picks up again everything in the room, it*s omnidirectional, it*s stereo and the self powering business is really good because you don*t need to have your recording device power the mic input. Now the very cool thing about this is that both of these microphones are very inexpensive. The ATR25 is about $25, the ATR35 is about $30 and at that price level I cannot think of a better microphone to use in both of those situations. And pencil mic can be used for interviews you know back and forth between you and your guest. So you know so what did you think of that certainly you do that kind of thing. And the Lavalier Mic is definitely better for $10 or $15 more than something like the Griffin iMic or the Griffin Lapel Mic it is a much better quality so the Audio-Technica stuff is really good and you can get all the details at www.audio-technica.com. I have already placed a link on www.onlinetonight.com*s latest blog entry which is the AMDiville Horror Tonight*s show for both the Pencil Mic, the Lavalier Mic and the iRiver. So you can go check it out over at Amazon for a lower rate. That is this hours* Book Mark This www.audio-technica.com. David Lawrence: Alright 180039 Online is our telephone number 18003966546. We do the Podcast from the show and I have asked people during the Podcast hey if you listen to this Podcast take a moment and send me a note via E-mail at david@onlinetonight.com that you are listening to the Podcast. And I have had some very interesting people send me E-mail. One of which is Frank Barnico for those of you that have ever heard the CBS Market Watch Reports on radio, Frank is their anchor and I had no idea that he was listening to the Podcast because I wasn*t there every night. I am hooked on it because it*s so short. I knew that was going to work out. Always Podcasts are like 40-50 minutes long, an hour long whatever. Most people get interrupted long before that. So I think even if I make the Podcast more frequent and the same link that the personal Net Cast used to be you know 10 minutes or so then that works out for people, I think that*s what I am going to do and keep it there. 180039 Online is our telephone number Larry you are Online Tonight with David Lawrence, hello.
Larry: Hey how you are doing?
David Lawrence: I am fine, how can I help you sir?
Larry: Okay I have a Windows XP and my computer is the eMachine and I am thinking about getting a sound card and a video card. But I am wondering which is the best way to go, what are the drawbacks and the benefits from external or internal.
David Lawrence: Well I would imagine that your eMachine can*t accept necessarily an internal card for either case. Because usually eMachines are less expensive because the sound is actually built in. It*s you know wielded on to the motherboard and the daughterboard situation. So I am not sure you can do anything but an external drive if at all. So I would be very careful about not buying anything until I was sure that I can actually install it. In the eMachines in the eMachines chassis . So if I want to talk to eMachines about that before you go and waste your money either way you will have to use externally if you can*t. Back in a moment with more Online Tonight.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
