David Lawrence: So you know it's an easy upgrade for people that are using 2K machines to get to XP. And one of the things that you can rest assured happens when you upgrade to XP is that the drivers that are used all by DSL purveyors by cable purveyors even dialup people are tune for XP because that*s the vast majority what people are using. So you might want to look into upgrading your software your operating system to see if that might help.
Greg: Wrap it up to XP.
David Lawrence: Yeah I mean unless there is something really odd about your system that they don*t know about you don*t know about that could be slowing it down I mean there is always the Adware question, there is always the SpyWare question, a virus question or whatnot.
Greg: Should I clean it out or what?
David Lawrence: Well if you have to clean it out a lot then that*s probably why it's slow. On the other hand the tools that are designed to protect you from SpyWare or again tune to XP because most of the SpyWare dudes are aiming for Internet Explorer on XP so.
Greg: Oh really
David Lawrence: Yeah but you should check into doing that just to bring yourself up to speed and to give yourself the ability to use the latest support and whatnot. After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
