David Lawrence: Alright 180039 Online that's our telephone number 18003966546 let*s get Tracy on the air and find out what I can do for Tracy hello.
Tracy: Hello.
David Lawrence: Hi there.
Tracy: I have a quick question.
David Lawrence: Okay.
Tracy: I have been hearing a lot lately about Firefox as using it instead of Internet Explorer. Is that worth downloading? We are having a big problem on our computer with a lot of Spyware and Adware and everything.
David Lawrence: Yeah that's one of the best reasons to download Firefox. I mean Firefox is terrific. It*s out of the Mozilla organization and there are some things that are built specifically for Internet Explorer that you can*t do in Firefox but nothing that you are going to notice I don*t think and in fact what you will notice is that you will find less and less possibly infecting your machine because as you correctly note most of the Adware out there is built to take advantage of the security inadequacies in Internet Explorer not that Microsoft hasn*t done a lot better with it recently but there you know the goofballs out there writing Adware and viruses are just playing this war, it*s like playing snow balls with these people. So yes it*s worth downloading and you can have it on the machine at the same time that Internet Explorer is on the machine you just used to use Firefox and set it as your default browser.
Tracy: Okay and do you know is anybody starting to make any kind of Adware or anything for Firefox.
David Lawrence: Sure, sure I mean as see this is the thing. Everybody blames Microsoft for being unaware of the security and not being fast about fixing and all that stuff. The fact of the matter is that Microsoft own so much of the market that that*s where the glory is for these Adware and virus writers. As soon as Firefox begins to acquire a reasonable percentage of the market place you are going to see more and more stuff written for Firefox to take advantage of Firefox to attack Firefox because it will start to you know give some glory to those people who do that sort of thing but for right now that*s very few and far between.
Tracy: Okay thank you very much.
David Lawrence: Alright I appreciate the call. Let*s go to Arnold. Arnold hello.
Arnold: Hi how are you?
David Lawrence: Good how can I help you sir?

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
