David Lawrence: And you can change that by opening up Normal.dot and then saving it back over itself and it will actually ask you, are you sure you want to save the normal template that*s very important you know.
Steve: Alright.
David Lawrence: So you know yes you will say yes I do, because it*s screwed up. And it also could be that your default printer settings are there and the preferences aren*t being saved properly, because it*s assigning it to an individual document rather than to all printing at once.
Steve: Okay.
David Lawrence: So what I would do is I would check both of those things out, make sure, even if you have to reinstall the printer because it is based on the printer setup the page setup.
Steve: Okay.
David Lawrence: So if you reinstall the printer it*s going to reset everything on that new printer to 8_x11 Normal you know. But Centered is odd to me because Centered isn*t usually something that*s an option in page setup. Centered is usually something that*s a document setting within word and that leads me to think that it*s the Normal.dot document that needs to be fixed, alright.
Steve: Okay alright so just, change the, I don*t have, I am not in front of my computer now unfortunately. So, but, change the template then?
David Lawrence: Normal.dot.
Steve: To Normal.
David Lawrence: Yeah Normal.dot which is your Normal template that*s what you normally start off with.
Steve: Okay.
David Lawrence: And it could be also that if you just start to create a new letter from scratch from document 1 that you won*t have those issues. There may be a letter that you have been copying over and over again.
Steve: Right.
David Lawrence: That is set that way, and that maybe what*s causing it. So that*s what*s going on, I appreciate the call. Randy you are Online Tonight with David Lawrence hello.
Randy: Hi David?
David Lawrence: Yeah.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
