David Lawrence: I am okay, how can I help you?

Pear: Great. David I have a XP Home and I use Outlook for my E-mail and lately I have been having some difficulty when it comes to downloading the E-mail. Get a little error message that say no HMTL.

David Lawrence: HTML?

Pear: HTML in it and I just can*t get anything you know download it. What's happening?

David Lawrence: There could be any number of things. If you are actually downloading off of a, when you are using Outlook Express you are doing the POP Server or is it?

Pear: I have a dial-up that I use.

David Lawrence: Right I understand. So if you are using it, do you get any E-mail at all or just certain E-mail hangs and then time is out?

Pear: Well it starts to download I get a few and then it times out and it just keeps on going round and round and round and then I get that error message about it times out.

David Lawrence: Okay, so when you say you get that error message and on my screen here it says timed out with an HTML error.

Pear: Yes.

David Lawrence: Often times, people will send E-mail that is HTML based. It looks like a web page, it*s got graphics and colored fonts and you know tables and links and all that sort of things. And that E-mail requires certain elements to be available. If the website that has that element on their like a picture on a website and it isn*t available for downloading that can hang up Outlook Express.

Pear: Oh okay.

David Lawrence: Now the question that I have for you though is when did this start happening because it could also be a number of other things and I want to kind of nail this down. When did this start happening?
