Joe: I brought Windows XP and my question to you is I would like to be able to enlarge the font of E-mail that I get, particularly like newsletters. I get newsletters from WorldStart.

David Lawrence: Okay and be aware that newsletters in particular are usually done in HTML and when that happens, there is a style sheet associated with them that defines the size of the text. So you may not be able to change the text in newsletters in particular, but I can help you in change the size of the text in everything else and those newsletters that will allow you to change the size.

Joe: Okay go ahead.

David Lawrence: You get more.

Joe: Well I was going to say I have already changed the default, the default font and default size on my computer.

David Lawrence: Okay then that*s what you are seeing, you are seeing newsletter that define the size overtly and don*t allow you to change the size. You also might be looking at image representations of the text as oppose to regular text representation. So if its not changing and you have changed the default font size in your Internet options then that*s what I was going to tell you to do with the admonition that in some cases you can*t change the size because the people that run the newsletter think they are smarter than you. And what I would do is I would send them back a note saying hey thank you very much for making it possible for me to read, your goofy newsletter, stop using you know style sheets that are locked and let me change the size because they wanted to look good, they don*t care that you are like close to blind and you cant see it right, so.

Joe: Right, I usually use when I had a Wheel Mouse you should be able to hold down the control key and then turn the Wheel Mouse and the font would get bigger that way.

David Lawrence: But that*s only a shortcut.

Joe: But now I have gone to Trackball and of course I don*t know if that works in XP anyhow that used to be 98, I get that.

David Lawrence: Yeah that*s nothing but a shortcut to what I mentioned before so it*s exactly the same stuff.

Joe: Alright.

David Lawrence: 180039 Online please people I want to have a conversation with you okay, if you ask me a question, let me answer it, please I beg you. Rick you are Online Tonight with David Lawrence hello.

Rick: Yeah I have a trouble with my Mac. To no longer my computer screen doesn*t recognize blank disc kind of any CD that I put in with a program or information on it, it recognizes. The blank CDs, it goes around*

David Lawrence: So its not recognizing CD-Rs or CD-RWs, is that correct? Hello.

Rick: It is not seeming to recognize anything and I have never seen that problem before.

David Lawrence: Right, so it sounds like the firmware has been rewritten, what version of the operating system are you using?

Rick: I am using, it*s OS 10.2 something, I am not into Panther yet.
