David Lawrence: I am fine how are you?
Bryan: I am fine I have a program I download all Replay Radio I don*t know if you are heard of it.
David Lawrence: I just recommend it today for a listener who listens on WGN in Chicago. I recommend it today they were looking for the ways to record radio on their computer and they didn*t say whether they wanted to record AM or FM or online streams or videos. And so I said Replay Radio for online stuff and the Radio Shark from Griffin for AM and FM, but go ahead.
Bryan: I am most interested in the audio streams. They give you a manual of it could be syndicated shows or it could be local shows like in Chicago or whatever.
David Lawrence: And you can drone too you don*t have to go just by their menu.
Bryan: Right, alright and unless you free record or in another words there are times for them that you recorded or you don*t have to --
David Lawrence: Yeah exactly it*s like TiVo for your radio, yeah.
Bryan: Exactly the question is that, can I go directly from that program to an mp3 to an iPod or is there have to be intermediate step?
David Lawrence: Well I think Replay Radio plays it wherever I don*t use it myself but it plays in whatever the native format is that it grabs it from.
Bryan: Yeah it would be real time and so while you can put it on your disc or you can put it using burn it to a CD.
David Lawrence: Well if you can burn it to a CD and it*s not Windows Media or Real Media versions of burning it to a CD if you can burn it to a CD then there is a good chance that they are saving things out as mp3. What we are going to have to do is get the people from the company, the name begins with A, I cant remember what the name is but we will get them on the show. And we will ask them if that can actually happen. If it can be saved as mp3 then it can be placed directly on to the iPod. Now the question is whether or not you can do what I describe before as pod casting, which is automatically getting that stuff and then sliding it over to your iPod automatically.
Bryan: Understood.
David Lawrence: I don*t know the answer.
Bryan: Yeah they said after recording then you can sink your iPod and you can stay with them on the mp3 format evidently.
David Lawrence: Well then that*s the case then you could do that.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
