David Lawrence: Okay so in other words it was setting it my opinion different orders like may be Alfa rather then track number. So in that case there is an option in both Windows Media Player and iTunes. I suggest you get iTunes and forget Windows Media Player 10, I don*t like it I like iTunes a lot. And it is designed to do. You might find that you are getting better response from that as well. They have an option to say okay put the track number ahead of the name of the track when ripping. So what you will get is 102030405 so even if it does going and Alfa order it will still put it in the order that it comes in. It will still put in that track order. And these are from CDs, right? These are not coming from audible or any place like that.
Jay: No these are coming from CDs.
David Lawrence: Yeah so that*s what I would do. Now, if that CD is an audio CD only a CD A, you are not going to be able to rip it all. Now you are saying you can here it is just out of order, is that right?
Jay: Yeah. The songs are out of order.
David Lawrence: Okay then in that case my advice is to make sure you have that option where you are putting the tracks and the track number ahead of the name when you rip it. So it goes 01 then space then the track name 02 space track name like that.
David Lawrence: Hey do you know what Lilli does now? She keeps a tab open in Safari when we are on the air with Online Tonight with the David Lawrence show just for www.GoDaddy.com because you never know when we are going to say some phrase or something on the air that sounds good as a domain name. And we know that if we don*t get it, one of you goofballs will grab it and with GoDaddy*s low prices why not. I mean we did that for Will, remember when Will came up with www.gmailfortroops.com but it was www.gmail4troops.com. Well Lilli immediately looked it up because we knew if we set it on the air people would be confused. She looked it up. She saw that www.gmailfortroops.com was available, did that through the GoDaddy interface and grabbed it and used godaddy*s DNS management to redirect that domain right to www.gmail4troops.com. Everybody*s happy. You can get your domain names for just $3.99 when you purchase any other product right now at www.godaddy.com and my listeners get an additional dollar off any order if you use the source code David when you check out. Make your name with www.godaddy.com.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
