David Lawrence: So how many times have you gone to somebody*s computer and seen a yellow sticky note on the side of the computer monitor that says password you know XV1963 or, or more often than that, you simply pick up the keyboard where somebody thinks they have cleverly kept their password away from stooping eyes and there it is again on the sticky note stuck to the bottom of the keyboard or you know you ask them what*s your password and they are telling you. They don*t say let me sit down and put it in please turn around.
Kevin: Right.
David Lawrence: Right, it*s just simple things maybe we will talk about that when we come back, simple things you can do that you may not feel comfortable doing but you should do when it's comes to your passwords it's a great call I appreciate it Kevin.
Kevin: Thank you.
David Lawrence: Thank you very much. Yeah let*s talk about passwords when we come back because a lot of people spend a lot of time trying to keep secure the data that can easily be stolen because you can be socially engineer. So let*s talk about that when we come back. It's 28 past the hour I am David Lawrence this is Online Tonight.
David Lawrence: Somewhere Only We Know that*s Keane at #17 on the Net Music Countdown e-track charts this week, so there at #17 over Gracenote*s CDDB and I have to bring part of the successful UK cover of BandAid, do they know its Christmas. Keane says if the offer came for live A2, well they are there, they will accept the gig. The group also says they are interested in producing there own charity singles to raise money for BandAid as well.
David Lawrence: Hospitals are scary, doctors are imposing but it*s your surgery. Learn the right questions to ask and how to prepare for all situations. They have phone service right, well apparently not and in of all place Louisiana, apparently there were some remote locations in Louisiana some foreign country where they just simply didn*t get around to in 100 or so years they have had phone service in the country or more, they have never got around to wiring it for phone service. And rather than using new technology, satellites, microwaves whatever, they actually spend $44,000 per mile to get the phone service out to this remote location about 30 or 40 miles from anywhere local. And brand new phone service for this area hadn*t had in a while and I remember while seeing this story hey that*s very interesting and then they have been running this ticker on this ticker line on CNN headline news for the last couple of days. One of the people there they got phone service, while the phone company was there and testing the lines 13 minutes after the phone company said there you go, there is your service. The first telemarketer called took less than 15 minutes for the telemarketing community to find these new numbers and call them, so pretty freaky.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
