David Lawrence: It is exactly 7 minutes past the hour thanks for tuning into this show. I appreciate it very much its Online Tonight my name is David Lawrence. Our toll free telephone number is 180039 Online. That*s 18003966546 we will get back to the phones in just a moment. I wanted to follow up on that last call my last hour with Lisa. The conversation that Lisa is going to have with her child is just the first step in her getting back her machine to some what normal speeds. The fight that she will have with her child I am sure she will have a fight with her child because kids don*t want to give up their music. They don*t want to think that because it was so cool for so long just steal music. That they have to actually do the right thing. And stop doing it because it's harming their machine Number#1, Number#2 because it's illegal and Number#3 we got all that work that you put into putting your collection together and man the right thing to do is to get rid of anything that is illegally obtained. But that*s not the end of the story and a lot of people might be thinking yeah well what do you do with that point when you are all done. Okay so you get check it and stop downloading music but then what? You still left with the machine that has been murdered. So we come to the point where we say okay now how do we clean the machine once we are done. Well there are three products that Lisa will have to use. That will help her get rid off hopefully all of the Spyware that has built up on her machine all of the Adware that has been installed on her machine. That is slowing her machine down. And again this is an another one of those things were you can send me an E-mail lawrence@aol.com or david@onlinetonight.com it's an other one of my little order responses. And I will tell you the three the only three by the way the only three pieces of software that I recommend. And it was so cool I was listening to a Podcast this morning on the plane on a way back here. Steve Gibson does a weekly thing with Leo Laporte called Security Now. And he reiterated here you know this late in the game but these are the only three that matter. And that is adware@lavasoftusa.com. Adware is the oldest and most venerable of Adware removal tools. Spybot - Search & Destroy from security.info. You know what send me the E-mail I want to make sure that I get that one right because it changed a bench in the last couple of years. And then finally from Microsoft at www.microsoft.com/spyware the Microsoft AntiSpyware tool now this is only for XP users, XP users have three tools everybody else has two tools. But they are the only ones you should use and they are all free. You should never pay for AntiSpyware or Spyware removal software. You can if you want further diagnostics you can pay for you can pay for the four pay versions of Adware and Spybot - Search & Destroy that*s fine. But this stuff like you know SpySweeper and you forget that. Forget it these are the once that have been tested these are the once that I indorse these are the once that Steve Gibson indorse because Steve Gibson he wrote SpinRite he has the website www.grc.com where you can test your machine to see if you are exposed to the Internet. Shields Up this is a guy who knows what he is talking about so it's not just me making this recommendations. Although from many people that seems to be enough. But send me an E-mail david@onlinetonight.com or lawrence@aol.com and I will send you back an order response that shows you where you get these. It will be an uphill battle for Lisa and it will be for you as well if your machine is severely infected. These Spyware riders are now engaged in a battle not only with the AntiSpyware companies.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
