Spyware, Adware and Ad Networks and so on so please don*t do that. Please just relax make sure you have the themes that came with your machine use those. In the old days Comet Cursor was the first one that installed Ad Networks on your machine. And we warned you against that but now there are just little nearly dozens of companies that will provide you with all kinds of great cursors in return for you surreptitiously installing Adware, Spyware on your machine. Please try to avoid it, cursor that is this hours* Geek Speak.
David Lawrence: Yeah I don*t think we are going after the sponsorship next time around 24 minutes past the hour my name is David Lawrence thanks for tuning into the show. 180039 online is our telephone number the lines fill up quickly we had all the lines filled and then we dropped the cell callers something so we do have an open line. We will get to Ed and Jim after we finish up with Eric here 180039 online if you want to jump in. So Eric the issue that you are having is and used that phrase redraw that it wasn*t redrawing AOL instant messenger properly. What was it doing were you able to use this service or just what was the story?
Eric: Well I could use it but you know it would be like I would minimize it or close it and then I would reopen it and it wouldn't like look right, it would--.
David Lawrence: It wasn*t painting properly?
Eric: Right you know it would some of that would be cut off and I couldn*t use like the --.
David Lawrence: If you actually logged out closed the application and this wasn*t happening by the way with Yahoo Instant Messenger correct?
Eric: Yeah, yeah the Yahoo one seems to work alright but I don*t use that as much.
David Lawrence: Okay. If you were to log out of AOL instant messenger close the application and then restart it was it working okay then?
Eric: Sometimes, and sometimes it wouldn't, sometimes it would continue doing the same thing.
David Lawrence: So I am going to chalk this up to one thing. Since the RAM sort of helped in terms of speed but didn't help in terms of repainting the application. That the version of AOL instant messenger that you are using may have been current but not as compatible with Windows Me as it would be with Windows XP or 2K.
Eric: I have 5.9.3.61.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
