because they said you want to think about it? So I said look it*s an old machine its slow, its Windows 98 not even Windows 98SE why don*t we, why don*t we go and look at a new machine for you. And especially since Edie you teach English at high school level, Bob you are Mascom guy why don*t we look at a brand new computer? You know you take that $99 and put it towards a brand new computer. Windows XP Media Center Edition because they love you know they consume media like I do ravenously and lets do that instead wouldn't that be, wouldn't that be a better use of your $99 and it would also bring you forward like 8 years in terms of the technology that you have available to you for your home computer. So we went to the local CompUSA they are on Thompson in Nashville and the manager there Mike and our sales man Russell just treated us great. I again did not mention who I was what I did until we were all done because they were selling the Satellite Systems in the store. And I said I would say hey on Saturday night which I am doing hey but they were just great. Even when there was a snafu with the paperwork at the end they just were really gracious about it we did everything made sure we had copies for our rebates and what not. And we came away with a great HP system with Windows Media Center Edition on it as well as we got him a backup drive. Lili was with me and because she was dealing with other things at the University as well she actually went to their house and helped them setup SpyBot and Ad-Aware and Microsoft Anti-Spyware separate accounts for her and Bob and then their kids so that their stuff was separate. There is no way the way the kids could actually log in and harm the integrity of their personal financial software or that stuff they use for work. We talked to them a lot about Spyware and about how it gets on the machine and so on. And it would be fair assessment when you walked away their Ms. Von Schtupp that they were just tickled pink will that be a fair assessment of their attitude?
Ms. Von Schtupp: No. No I would say they were happy why would you would bring pink into this?
David Lawrence: Oh.
Ms. Von Schtupp: Is it because you know it*s my favorite color?
David Lawrence: Here you go.
Ms. Von Schtupp: And by the way I would like to give a shout out to Lizen whatever the name of the shoe store is.
David Lawrence: Oh here we go.
Ms. Von Schtupp: Designer shoes.
David Lawrence: Oh here we go.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
