Ronnie: Which of those are good you know which of those can I trust, and -- are they better to use the smaller ones and the bigger ones.

David Lawrence: It*s a great question, first of all if how good are you at supporting yourself on computers?

Ronnie: Pretty good.

David Lawrence: Okay so then in that case if you are willing to do your own tech report you might be better off going to mom-and-pop shop or do it yourself build at your own kind of place and having them build it for you and not having the big corporate support behind you. I don*t recommend that from most of my listeners, if you know Windows fairly well you can you can save yourself some money you can even build it yourself and there are plenty of websites that will give you the location of where to buy good components, where to buy power supplies, where to buy boxes, where to buy you know the things that you need. But that doesn*t mean you can*t get great deals from Dell, Dell is one of my absolutely recommended companies. You can get computers from there for $499.

Ronnie: Yeah, yeah.

David Lawrence: Now then on top of that you have support and what I want to minimize is you picking up the phone and calling me. So the question is if you really are good at supporting yourself when it comes to the computer if you know where to go and find things on the web and you know how to use diagnostic tools like Norton utilities and you can sort of troubleshoot what*s going on with your machine*s hardware. Then you might think about going to other places and a $1000 by the way is a fairly generous budget.

Ronnie: Yeah.

David Lawrence: I mean you are not, you are going to get a great machine for $1000.

Ronnie: Right I am not going to out there, I have mentioned of $1000, I am not going about the Alienware and get a gaming machine.

David Lawrence: So see if you know about Alienware and if you know about companies like that, that do super machines that two machines that go above and beyond the call because they are usually used for gaming or for rendering or for whatever.

Ronnie: Right.
