David Lawrence: The Norton Live Update.
Margaret: Yeah the Norton Live Update.
David Lawrence: Right.
Margaret: Rebooted the system then this little box comes up it has a red circle with a white X In it that said yes and no. If I pushed yes, there is the signing window.
David Lawrence: Wait, wait stop for a second stop. There is nothing else in the box.
Margaret: No, that was the weird thing.
David Lawrence: So it*s simply-
Margaret: There was no little message.
David Lawrence: Okay take it slow for me because I am kind of dense. So you boot your machine and is it before or after it gets to Windows that this happens.
Margaret: It is before it*s just as you are getting to the sign up window like it will say administrator or whoever is on.
David Lawrence: So let me just pose something to you.
Margaret: Okay.
David Lawrence: Perhaps the virus that you caught was not on your hard drive at all but in your BIOS.
Margaret: Okay.
David Lawrence: Because if it is not getting to Windows if it*s doing this during the POST process or the Power On Self Test process there might be something else wrong with your machine. Now you should and they should have instructed you to do this. The disk that comes with Norton antivirus you know the emergency disc.
Margaret: Right.
David Lawrence: You need to boot from that disc.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
