David Lawrence: Why does it make me laugh when I may blow the horn noise? I am easily abused it*s 6 before the hour my name is David Lawrence lets go to Dan. Dan you are Online Tonight with David Lawrence hello.
Dan: Hi David how are you tonight?
David Lawrence: I am fine, I am fine and you sir?
Dan: Not too bad. I just got a quick question for you David. Windows XP 64 bit I just recently upgraded my machine to the 64 bit version of Windows. And I am really disappointed with support for drivers, Antivirus software. I am just wanting if you have any ideas of where I could find better support for this system?
David Lawrence: Why did you upgrade? Just curious
Dan: Well I am basically one of the type of people that just gets into hardware and software when it comes out new. I am always upgrading and I have a 64 bit processor and I figured why not to try this use the power the way it*s suppose to?
David Lawrence: Right okay well so first of all almost no software no application level software system software yes but application software and as you found out driver software almost non-existent for Windows XP 64. But application software hardly aware of 64. I am befuddled as to why Microsoft took the time and trouble when Longhorn could have now been delivered faster if they had taken the resources which now called Windows Vista. If they take in the resources and put them towards that as opposed to coming out with once again some other interim operating system that is more than a distraction. It*s a distraction more than anything else and --
Dan: It*s aggravating.
David Lawrence: Yeah I mean you go, by the way I must tell you, you have no idea how much you sound like Leon Notenboom. The guy that wrote our 10 quick steps guide.
Dan: Oh okay yeah Leon I have, he is on the Tech TV right.
David Lawrence: No that*s Leo Laporte.
Dan: Oh sorry.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
