David Lawrence: Right so that you have got a definite heat problem on the machine. It*s about year and half old I would have it cleaned I would have I would take it to a store have them do it professionally they go in three with the vacuum cleaner and they suck out all the dust. They could be gathering around the vents. Laptops these days do get very hard on the bottom without it will effect I mean they are designed to sort of make the surface area on the bottom of the laptop a heat sync. And that*s why you don*t want to put a laptop on your bare lap. You know you want to be I see these commercials with these hot chicks in bikinis using laptops on the beach you know on the sand I like those two except that will never happen. You will never see any self respecting hot chick with a laptop on her bare legs on beach. It*s just you know its not going to happen so that*s one thing but you obviously have a heat problem. What*s going on is there is a thermal switch inside that will shut your machine down before it gets damaged, if it gets to a certain internal temperature. So it*s doing the right thing and when you say you can sort it up again and it will work for a while, it*s just because you haven*t let it cool down. I imagine if you shut it down for the night and then pick it up the next day that it will be fine. Now, when you when you work with your laptop do you work with it flat on the table.

Casey: I do yeah yes I do on the table.

David Lawrence: So let me give you a tip. They make these little devices that lift up the back end and you can actually do this with like a roll recorders if you want to. But they actually make one with little rubber tips on them so their machine doesn*t move. And it lifts up the back end of the machine and lets air flow underneath the laptop. So once you do get it cleaned, do that, get one of these little things they are like 9 bucks at the computer store and it also tilts it towards you so that*s easier to type on.

Casey: Okay yeah that makes sense.

David Lawrence: Right and then it also they have once that come that have a base that swivels. So you can actually work on something and then into RAM and show what you have been doing to a coworker. And it*s cheap they are cheap and it*s really good for your machine because the cooler you can leave your machine the longer it*s going to last, the less problems you are going to have and right now what you are facing is possible degradation of the internal components of the machine. So just be real careful. Go get it cleaned and you shouldn*t have any further issues and I thank you for the call.

Casey: Oh thank you very much.
