David Lawrence: When you display, I am just asking this I don*t know because I don*t*
Dave: Oh no I don*t even try that.
David Lawrence: Yeah I don*t use Outlook so I don*t know, I mean I have helped people use it before and I have kind of you know I have done some work with it but it*s not what I rely on day in and day out. Although, I do rely on Macintosh version of Outlook, which is called Entourage same integrated features but not the same innerface and certainly not the same package per se. But I do know that when you have a list and it works this way on Entourage too when you have a list that does not have an index associated with it, those tabs on the side where you can press on. If you have a scrolling list you can always type the first letter like say you have a long series of file names in a scrolling list in Windows Explorer you know looking at your hard drive in Windows Explorer. If it*s a long, laundry list of files in alphabetical order and you want to get down to the S*s and you want to sit there getting the scroll bar 5 times, you just type S and that will take you down there.
Dave: I know what you are saying and I don*t know if I have tried that or not*
David Lawrence: You might have tried it, at least it will speed up and you don*t have to scroll so much.
Dave: Can I ask another question?
David Lawrence: Sure, absolutely.
Dave: In Outlook and you are sending an E-mail you click on the *To* you know to who you are sending to and another Window opens up and it list all the names of the people in sub-window I guess and there is little spot where you can start typing in their name.
David Lawrence: Correct that*s your address book and it*s looking at your address book and there you can start typing the name and it will start looking based on the letters that you are typing.
Dave: Exactly, so then if you hit go down to the bar in that little window and hit the *To* it magically pops up down in the *To* address.
David Lawrence: Right, for people listening we are saying *To* not numeral 2 but the To Box there is To, there is CC, there is BCC, etc.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
