there is a little microphone element on the end. But it*s about the size of a sprinkle, a jimmy you know little piece of chop you have on a doughnut or on an ice cream I think. And but amazing sound as good sound as I am getting out of this medium diaphragm Crown and comparable to the large diaphragm sound of many of the condenser mikes out there. So it requires though phantom power.
David Lawrence: So it requires though Phantom Power, 48 volts of Phantom Power to make it work. So I needed to find the device that I could play, and he can*t plug it directly into the power book. I mean to plug it in, to what is called and Audio Interface or Preamp. And there are two ways I could go with this, I could with the FireWire Interface, or I could go with a USB interface. FireWire Interface not a problem but I was also looking for I tend to get loud. And the symmetric and the focus right Preamps that I used on the microphone in the studio do a great job, if I wanted to raise my voice, the apparent volume to you is just as loud as when I whispered. Notice how it didn*t get way, way quite and I didn*t get way, way loud, look the apparent volume remains pretty much the same because of the limiting functions of the devices that I am using. And I wanted something that at least limited the loud parts, and the Edirol UA 25 had everything that I needed. It*s a small tiny little box, its fits into my, my power book case. I have little tiny power book, a case with the 12 inch barely larger then the power book. Fits into the outside pouch that nice, it*s doesn*t have and external power supply, it*s powered by the USB port itself. So when I plug this interface into my power book, it not only delivers the audio to the power book. But it also provides the power for the device all through the USB plug. The one thing also that it has is a Limiter Circuit built in, it*s the only devices of its size and kind that has a Limiter Circuit built in. Yes it*s not very, it*s not variable at all I can*t tweak it the way at the way I can tweak the preamps that I have in the studio. But at least I am protected if I get loud and the way form won*t be harmed. It can be distorted if I get loud. So I just want to read my stuff and not have to worry about writing game, you know like can we see needles on VU meters on television, or in films, you wanted to be just shy of 100. So the Limiter does that for me, and it was in there, and it*s a $250 purchase $239. So I got up this morning and I went and got the car went down to Sam Ash down at on sunset. And they weren*t open, until 11:00. So I went across street to guitar center, and they what they tried to do

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
