Album Description
UK soulstress Joss Stone is set to release new single 'Tell Me What We're Gonna Do Now' through Relentless on July 16th. The second single to be released from Joss' third album 'Introducing.. Joss Stone', 'Tell Me.' is a sweet, dreamy hip-hop track - its laid back beats providing the perfect soundtrack for the forthcoming summer months. The track also features a verse from Grammy winning rapper Common. Produced by the album's chief collaborator Raphael Saadiq (D'Angelo, Kelis, Lucy Pearl) 'Tell Me What We're Gonna Do Now' sees the continued evolution of an artist that took the world by storm when she burst onto the scene in 2003 with Soul Sessions, followed up by the equally successful Mind Body and Soul the following year.

• Interview post at Manila Standard Today
Check out this fantastic interview Michael did with Manilastandardtoday.com. Rock and Roll has a soul: An interview with Michael Johns By Camille V. Pilar ?Hey, I like your jacket. And is that a Jim Morrisson pin? I like the Doors. I sang a Doors song during the show.? There was a two-second pause before I mustered a reply. ?Yeah, Light My Fire, right?? He smiled and nodded. It took me a few more seconds to settle down, set up my recorder and look at Michael Johns straight in the eye. Cla
• ABC Drops Pushing Daisies
Critically acclaimed fantasy show Pushing Daisies is no more, done in by second season ratings that never lived up to expectations. It was quite the bloodletting at ABC yesterday as word is that Eli Stone and Dirty Sexy Money also got the boot. E Online?s Kristin dos Santos confirmed the bad news about Daisies with executive producer Bryan Fuller Thursday. Fuller said there are already discussions with DC Comics to do a comic book that will wrap up the show?s ongoing storyline. That route has
• Alice Russell: Pot of Gold
I am not sure who really set things off, but I started to take notice of this new breed of U.K. soul singers when Joss Stone started topping the charts years ago. Alice Russell is one of the hottest vocalists from across the pond, but she?s hardly new to the scene. Russell has built a burgeoning career recording and performing with artists such as Massive Attack, The Roots, and De La Soul. Perhaps it?s a rebuttal to the studio-polished music created today, but I find British artists like Russel
• OBAMA: Who will he choose for his team?
There?s a lot of speculation on the internet regarding who Obama will be appointing to various cabinet positions. • Ouch!
Dallas Austin, the creator of the term ?Fuckin? for Tracks,? puts Real Housewives of Atlanta?s wannabe country singer Kim on blast. ?We are not doing a song, we are not doing an album ? that was only for television! Dallas Austin is truly an asshole. He came out saying Xtina Aguilera, Joss Stone and many other chicks [...]

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
