NY critics loved Garner as Roxanne
Jennifer Garner received rave reviews in the New York Times and the New Yorker magazine for her performance as Roxanne. On the DVD the closeups of the actors detract from the play rather than enhance it. Remember there are hundreds of people in the audience and the actors play to the last rows as well as the loge seats. PBS does their audience a disservice by zooming in on faces and destroying the beauty of the staging. Have you seen the ballet productions? It was a joy to see this beloved drama again.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence.
