David Lawrence: On XM Satellite Radio fabulous. Alright well hopefully somebody will call up. Dave is having problems. His control panel is freezing not responding. If anybody knows or has a suggestion, let*s hear it. 180039 online Shirley you are online tonight with David Lawrence hello.

Shirley: Yeah.

David Lawrence: Hi Shirley.

Shirley: Hello.

David Lawrence: How can I help you?

Shirley: I have a Mac and this afternoon I was online and it was not reacting the way it normally does. It was sluggish. I thought I would try to restart and it didn*t do a thing to restart and then the screen came up or something happened and I thought well maybe I should shutdown. So I clicked shutdown. Now I have a beautiful blue screen and nothing at all.

David Lawrence: Okay so what were doing when it started to act funny?

Shirley: I was online.

David Lawrence: Okay.

Shirley: With Netscape.

David Lawrence: Okay but were you online, where were you online, what website?

Shirley: I was trying to access a credit card website.

David Lawrence: A website that you are aware of that you know is ---

Shirley: Yeah.

David Lawrence: Okay not a Spam?

Shirley: No, no, no.

David Lawrence: Okay alright. So here*s the situation. I hardly have enough information to know what*s wrong with your machine but it very well maybe that your hard drive is beginning to decay. And you might need to run a diagnostic on that and I have a couple of suggestions for you.

Shirley: Okay.

David Lawrence: You also might just want to take it into the Apple Store and have somebody at the Genius Bar look at it. I will talk about it in a moment.
