David Lawrence: I know. I said don*t do that, don*t do that. Adware.Lop and Symantec, I have Norton Internet Security Antivirus 2004. It tells me all of this but won't let me delete it. And then it gives me the location C Windows downloaded program files and yet I keep deleting all the things that I don*t know or that say unknown and still nothing. I try to scan and I delete in safe mode and it didn*t work and then I went to edit the registry and all my efforts were to no avail. What can I do to get rid of this potential Adware threats? Symantec lists the risks as high yet at least to me their website is hard to navigate especially if you just want to E-mail address to talk to a technician. Please sir any help that you can give me I would appreciate. Thanks take care, Leedie listening on WGN in Chicago Illinois. So nowhere here do I see that you are using Anti-Spyware software. I see that you are using Antivirus software, Norton Internet Security in Antivirus 2004 that*s fine. But that*s not going to help you in this case. There are as I mentioned almost every show and have since probably January of this year. I mean pretty much without fail this question comes up each and every week and so I will give you the easy way to do this. I have an E-mail message, a reply E-mail message and auto reply that I send out to people who ask me this question. How do I get rid of this piece of Spyware, this piece of Adware, this and so on. There are three different software packages that I recommend that you use in conjunction with one another. This is different from Antivirus software where you only are, you should only use one at a time. You shouldn*t run Norton Antivirus and Panda. I love Panda. I would rather see you do Panda only. But you don*t run more than one Antivirus software however Anti-Spyware software, Anti-Adware software absolutely. And these are the three that I recommend, Adaware Spybot-Search & Destroy and the newly updated Microsoft Windows Anti-Spyware, now this is if you are running XP or 2000 you know 2K Pro. And you are running XP so these are the three for you. Now for those of you listening and for you Lee send me a piece of E-mail and I will respond back to you with the URLs where you can find them. They are all free that*s the good news and exactly how to use them? I also give you a list of virus software that I prefer and it's Panda. But all you have to do is send me piece of E-mail lawrence@aol.com, david@onlinetonight.com and I will be more than happy to send you back that E-mail with those pieces of software on there. So 180039 online is our telephone number 18003966546. There is an instant message out of the way. We will get some IMs out of the way in just a moment. Tony: Thanks for taking call David.
David Lawrence: How can I help you sir?
Tony: I have a wireless. Well it's a wireless system that I use for my DSL. I have connected a router to it. But okay backing up the DSL is wired. It's not, I am not using the wireless function. So I have connected a VoIP and a play station to it via a router. Now on my wireless it's a two wire brand there is three lights where the top one is power, the middle one is the link to I guess the--
David Lawrence: Okay hold on. Without your describing the display what*s your question?
Tony: The problem is that occasionally my Internet connection is blanking off.
David Lawrence: Okay.
Tony: It's happening quite frequently. It started happening when I connected up to VoIP and then when I connected up to play station it started happening a lot. I thought it was a router but what happens is that I have got my phone line connected to the DSL and the DSL is it*s the part of the router.
David Lawrence: Right hold on one second. Hang on, hang on one second. Do me a favor. Clear your throat. Take your time. Clear your throat and we will come back and we will get some details from you. Back in a moment.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
