I have a blog for that my active blog over a TypePad. What I use blogging software for is look my show is on every night of the week. I also have another show called the Net Music Countdown that airs weekly and what I do is I use blogging software because it*s so darn convenient to update the show notes every night. I will put a new entry in for each new show just as if I was entering a new opinion on the democrats or the republicans. A lot of blogs are about politics. A lot of blogs are about technology. Blogging can also help you do Podcasting. You can deliver audio via blogs. But in its truest essence a blog is nothing more than a way to control the content of a website through periodic posts and those posts are usually texts very text heavy and maybe pictures or links or whatever. But that*s what a blog is. It*s just a way to update. Now it*s great that your company is doing this. They can do blogging to update a catalogue. They could use the blog for their catalogue. They could issue press releases via a blog. They could let your users you know a blog and post things to a blog site that they could read a private blog. There is lots of reasons why a company could use a blog or a Podcast and we actually have a 10 Quick Steps guide to it called 10 Quick Steps to Blogging and also 10 Quick Steps to Chris Pirillo's Blog Traffic School if you are trying to get traffic to your blog. So it*s not new. I mean you mentioned that it was new. It*s actually been around since 2001 but it*s new to your company and it*s a great question.

Lisa: Okay thank you very much.

David Lawrence: I appreciate it very much and good luck with your blog.

Lisa: Thanks a lot.

David Lawrence: Alright back in a moment.
