David Lawrence: Thank you so much for tuning into the show. I appreciate it very much. The name of the show is Online Tonight my name is David Lawrence but then you have heard all that. You have been apprised of all that. I am not telling you anything you don*t already know. Here is the toll free telephone number. It*s 180039 online that*s 18003966546.
This was an interesting week. If you want to jump in to get on the air with me to talk about technology, pop culture whatever we can talk about all the things that happened this week including the latest most vocal of viruses that are out there the W32/Cisum.A which makes a noise that sounds like this: (You are an idiot). You know that*s an old drop-in from radio I mean anybody who works in radio knows that drop-in from a long time ago and it sort of made its way around the Internet you know its been converted to MP3s and shared and what not and now it is the indicator that you have been infected with W32/Cisum.A. And the thing that I used to use it on morning radio all the time. Why, what do you say mam? (You are an idiot) okay. And it is kind of interesting because as you, as you listen for it you know, you got a bunch of cubes in this cube farm. You know I can just imagine the virus spreading slowly from machine to machine and the screen that pops up and the sound that happens and the IT guys slowly burning in the back of the room because you know he didn*t patch the machines or she didn*t patch machines or whatever.
So that happened this week and also there is a case the case the Grokster Case is going to the Supreme Court and an interesting thing has been happening with what are called the Amicus Briefs the friends of the court briefs that are being filed in support, in opposition and then sort of like in whatever with this thing. We are going to talk about that in just a moment. If you have a Windows machine, if you have a Macintosh, if you have a PDA, a cell phone this is the show for you. We talk about technology, how to use it, how to use it better, how to avoid the problems and the pitfalls and all the errors that people often have with their technology and if I can help you in any small way that would be great. If you want to talk about what kinds of machine to buy, what kind of software to buy, what kind of cell phones you would prefer, what kind of WiFi equipment and material you need all that stuff is fair game.

David Lawrence is heard nightly as the wacky, eclectic and highly opinionated host of The David Lawrence Show, and weekend Online Tonight, network radio talk shows that revolves around pop culture and the high-tech lifestyle. The award-winning shows combine entertainment, information, interviews and news with the speed and humor of a Top-40 morning show.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
