David Lawrence: Okay and I appreciate the call. Well sometimes we think about technology and we go well they can't do it and darn it I am not going to let them do it. Man I am not going to start another Napster. Well in some cases you know like for example I want you to download the podcast because the bandwidth is exactly the same but you are off my server faster. I like that you know. And I would rather you download the podcast from me through an aggregator because then it goes through Coral which is a content delivery network and it sort of evens out the availability of the file. And so there is a lot of things that you know I would rather you do that. I would rather you download my podcast for example. Now in some cases like I was thinking of putting up a flash game on the Fantasy Music League site. I want people to stay on the site, play the game, see the ads, maybe click on them, help support the game, right. So there I don*t want somebody to be able to download the game and play it on their hard drive. But in the case of Dan it didn*t seem to make that much difference. So 180039 online that*s our telephone number. 19 before the hour, let*s go to Peter. Peter you are online tonight with David Lawrence, hello.

Peter: Hi.

David Lawrence: Hi there.

Peter: I have a Treo 650 as well. I have 2 questions. Firstly is there a good spell checker that will interface with that?

David Lawrence: Sure any speck checker that works on any other Palm device will also work on the Treo 650 and the way, now let me back up. Integrating spell checking with things like the address book I am not sure that will work although it may. And the plus --

Peter: I am looking for E-mail.

David Lawrence: Oh okay for E-mail. And Blazer --.

Peter: Blazer.

David Lawrence: Wait a minute. There is a VersaMail that comes on the CD and then there is MMS and there is Mail. It doesn*t have a spell checker built in. So here*s what you do. There is a place called palmguide or palmsource. I think its palmsource, www.palmsource.com. If you go to www.handspring.com, if you go to www.palm1.com they all have links to their software area and there is a couple dozen different spell checkers that integrate or are separate from the applications that are on a Palm device and any of those will work just fine.

Peter: They are your favorite?

David Lawrence: No I don*t use them. You know to me if I am going to do serious E-mail or I am doing something where I need spell checking I will do it on my laptop. If I am trying to get something to somebody on the road half the time I am using SMS abbreviations anyway. Like I will just quickly punch in are you coming soon you know and I will leave out all the vowels you know just to get it out off and running.

Peter: I am a little behind on that. I am ---

David Lawrence: No that*s okay. That*s just how I use my device. There are some people who use it much more often than I do. I probably only use it an hour or so a day but there are people who live their whole business lives on their Treo 650 and that*s very cool. So --

Peter: It*s 2.36.33________ that way.

David Lawrence: Yeah so but I would go to www.palmsource.com, www.handspring.com, www.palm1.com and you also might want to go to www.palmtreo.com because they have sources there as well that have things specifically for the Treo. You might also want to try Treo I think its www.treosmartphone.com. There*s a couple of sites dedicated specifically to the Treo 650 and the 600 before it and they may have some forums and some help areas that will give you a better idea of what you can grab.
