Just type David as your promo code into your check out David. Make your name with GoDaddy.com, that*s GoDaddy.com. And now what is Safe Mode? Safe Mode is one of the options in starting a Windows 95 or Windows 98 or any other Windows flavor beyond 95, machine. Starting computer in Safe Mode means starting it up with very few additions and extensions to the systems, only those things that the system needs to operate on a very basic level. No sytem.ini, win.ini or autoexec.bat, no config.sys, no registry entries nothing, no startup file, no system tray programs, nothing and it*s functionally equivalent to starting up a Macintosh with the shift key held down. None of the extensions are loaded into the machines. Those things that change your computer to function differently than the way it came out of the box and in some cases even more basic than how it comes out of the box because more and more manufacturers are adding things that you don*t get around by simply starting up normally. So that*s what safe mode is and usually when you start up in safe mode you are starting up by holding down a function key and the function key is often F8 sometimes F12, oh I am sorry F4. But it will vary based on what model you have. That*s the mode you want to startup in when you are diagnosing your computer when there is an issue going on you don*t know what it is, when you are defragging your hard drive, defragmenting your hard drive you want to do it in Safe Mode. Safe Mode, that is this hours* Geek Speak and this portion of the show is brought to you by Rackspace Managed Hosting where all Rackspace packages include their world renowned fanatical support with level 3 technicians available 24x7x365. 100% uptime guaranteed, burstable bandwidth myrackspace access check your bandwidth, those online or search their knowledge base all from your browser only at Rackspace. After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
