I think I actually sent back an order responded with a couple of articles in the Microsoft Knowledge Base about why 98 won*t shutdown properly. It*s a known problem. Two hours on the phone with the tech and for a feedback well worth it. My computer now shuts down from the Start Menu as it should. Usually it*s application, I appreciate that kind of thank you very much, usually it*s applications that are still running and won*t shutdown that cause you not to be able to shutdown. So that*s why it is. Kevin Alger writes what is your recommendation for an external DVD burner and hard drives on PC with Windows XP Pro? I love Yamaha, love HP, love Sony, Toshiba like stay away from the brand names for an external, for hard drives the OneTouch by Maxtor. Terrific, love it and then in terms of USB 2.0 or FireWire whatever you got on your machine. If you get to by a card for PC I will probably get USB 2.0 but either one will work just fine. You know there are peers who would say well USB 2.0 runs little bit faster, you are never going to get that kind of throughput. So FireWire or USB and what I would do is I would look around to see what other devices you have that may benefit from having USB 2.0 on your machine or FireWire. If you have a DV camera if you have video camera that*s FireWire. You might want to get a FireWire card you probably have one already but that*s the case. Now there is FireWire 800 as well as FireWire 400 so be aware of that. There is no difference in the card. All cards of FireWire are 800 compatible. But there are differences in USB cards, USB1 versus USB2. So you got to be careful about that. Thirteen past the hour, let*s go to Corey, Corey you are Online Tonight with David Lawrence, hello.
Corey: Hi how are you?
David Lawrence: I am fine.
Corey: Good I have question about Wireless Router.
David Lawrence: Okay.
Corey: We have a Linksys Wireless Router.
David Lawrence: And who is this we that you are talk about? Who is this we?
Corey: Myself and my boyfriend.
David Lawrence: Aha you are sharing a router that*s love, that*s love. How can I help you?
Corey: Yeah and it is not working so he is in trouble.
David Lawrence: Okay.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
