Ed: Well what I have, ever since I have downloaded my new Antivirus from Norton I can't get the Pogo Games now I don*t know if it*s they have a built in Firewall for blocking these games.

David Lawrence: So this is not just then the update to Norton, this is a new version of Norton, is that correct.

Ed: Yeah it has this go back, this new version, I never had that before.

David Lawrence: So you didn*t actually get Norton Antivirus, you got the Norton Security setup the whole deal.

Ed: Yes, yes.

David Lawrence: Okay so you are absolutely right it does include a Firewall. And the Firewall is preset by Norton so that you don*t hurt yourself and unfortunately it*s usually set to a high level and Pogo is not among the trusted websites where that Firewall will let you go through. Now the easiest way to do this is to go to another machine that doesn*t have this on, because what you don*t want to do if you don*t want to disable what you have setup you just want to lower the level just a bit or add Pogo to the trusted sites. And I don*t use Norton these days so I am not sure exactly how the interface works but if you look in the manual and look under how to deal with the Internet Firewall and how to set your level of security usually it*s preset at Medium High. And Pogo since it uses Java and it uses Ads because it*s free, but you have all those ads you have to deal with. Norton specifically targets sites like that and says no, no you don*t want to go there, if you bought me you bought me because you want me to protect you, right. Well you don*t want to go here because it*s got Java and it*s got ads and it*s got all that nasty stuff that you want me to protect you from. Unfortunately you want the games. And so to get to the games you either look under how Norton handles the exceptions, sites that you can actually put in to a list where you say to Norton I don*t care what you see when you go there, I want to be able to get that site. That*s one way of approaching it, the other way of approaching it is to slightly lower overall the entire security level of what you have setup, because as I said when it*s installed first it is assumed that you wanted it to be very high.

Ed: Yes.

David Lawrence: So Internet Options is also affected so when you go to your browser, are you still using Internet Explorer?

Ed: Yes.
