David Lawrence: Avril Lavgine, My Happy Ending #12 on Net Music Countdown. This was the weekend Avril Lavgine found out if she was the peoples* choice. I am sure she would love being up against Alisha Keys, Sarah McLachlan, Sheryl Crow and Norah Jones in the favorite female category, your votes will all that matter as they went head to head on CBS.
David Lawrence: Yeah it is 26 before the hour some great Instant Messaging coming my way. This one from RiverBJL who by the way is the young lady who wrote our 10 Quick Steps to Customer Service, to keeping customers very, very satisfied, customer satisfaction. She writes Hi David wondering if there is a way to organize your iPod by folders. I have a ton of playlist, oh man I wish there was. I wish there was a way now you can do this on the iTunes because you can use all the other different functions of iTunes, you can use genres and you can use ratings and you can use most listened to and all those things. There is tons and tons there is a great O'Reilly book called iPod Hacks, that let*s you, it*s not hacking the hardware its hacking sort of the way you use the software, all legal nothing about it that Apple would frown on. But the fact of the matter is, is that there is no way to organize that. I mean like I have got a whole bunch of Podcasts I want to put all my tech Podcast in one folder and I want to put all of my new music Podcast in the other folder and I want to put all of my political Podcast in the third folder. And that way when I am in the mood for something I want to listen to few different types of Podcast, I can just move from folder to folder, unfortunately no. There is no way to do that, there is no way to add to the hierarchy of what can be put into your iPod. Now it will be great if you could actually take a playlist and put a playlist inside a playlist I haven't figured out how to do that. And I have looked; believe me I have absolutely looked. 180039 online is our telephone number 18003866546, we have lost a couple of cell calls, including one from Susan about an ad for a machine, that*s only 300 bucks will that work for her. And I wish we could have had a chance to talk to her about that. But she moved on and so we have an open line if you want to jump in 180039 online 18003966546 I love it when people I know call the show Ed.
Ed: Ed.
David Lawrence: Hey how are you doing?
Ed: Okay Davy, how are you?
David Lawrence: Davy there is only one person in the entire world that calls me Davy and that*s you.
Ed: That*s me.
David Lawrence: I have beaten up all the others.
Ed: Well Dave you are going to have to reach long and hard to get to me.
David Lawrence: Alright, so how can I help you sir?

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
