David Lawrence: Yeah and I was over at CompUSA buying a new hard drive see us big highfalutin radio guys we still have to buy our own stuff and get it put in by the way because the 12 inch is not something that you can do on your own. So I am standing there and this nice couple standing next to me at the text booth, has just purchased Spy Sweeper and I just, I felt like if I let them go I would be morally bankrupt and I said please don*t use Spy Sweeper please use a cocktail of AdWare, Spybot Search & Destroy and Microsoft Anti Spyware, which is the old GIANT software and I gave them all the URLs and I just couldn*t let them go thinking that they were going to be protected with something like Spy Sweeper. So you are doing the right thing there and I will keep doing the right thing there I would not use the Anti Virus Software in AOL 9.0 you don*t have to use it. But if you have a Firewall you don*t want go and get the ZoneAlarm then you use that and you be good to go.
Bruce: Well I have Norton Firewall too.
David Lawrence: Oh you have Norton Firewall too, alright. Well, then in that case don*t use anything that AOL gives you for free. You have already made your decision is to what you are going to use. I don*t think Norton Firewall is as good as ZoneAlarm but that*s just my opinion.
Bruce: Well I have ZoneAlarm too.
David Lawrence: But don*t run the both.
Bruce: No.
David Lawrence: You are not running them both, right.
Bruce: No.
David Lawrence: Okay.
Bruce: Okay, now one other question I just went into Xoftspy the other day through the Netsquirrel. He had suggested I downloaded found that one is $39.95 ran that it tells me that I had 16 threats and 14 minor.
David Lawrence: Yeah no matter what you get and there is bunch of amount there, no matter what do you get you are going to find things and claim that certain things are bad. The cocktail that I have given you is the highest rated combination and that*s from Eric house research at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champagne.
Bruce: I believe you.
David Lawrence: So he basically stuck a HoneyPot machine out on the web, waited for it to get infected and then also added on top of it Grokster and the International Wrestling Federation website, which downloads just tons and tons and tons of SpyWare onto your machine, and then he tried them all and the cocktail that he came up with that works the best is a combination of AdWare, Spybot Search & Destroy and what was then called GIANT and is now called Microsoft Anti Spyware, alright.
Bruce: Okay.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
