My name is David Lawrence and the name of the show is Online Tonight where we talk about anything having to do with Internet, pop culture, technology you name and we talk about it and I love to talk to you. Bob: Hi David how are you.

David Lawrence: I am great.

Bob: Thanks for taking my call.

David Lawrence: My pleasure.

Bob: I have a Mac G4 running 9.2.2 and I recently picked up an Epson Perfection 1200S Scanner with the SCSI connection and I cannot make this thing work.

David Lawrence: SCSI connection?

Bob: Yes sir.

David Lawrence: Okay let me ask you a question you got a G4 machine why are you messing with 9.2.2 and SCSI?

Bob: I need for one thing.

David Lawrence: Okay the only way you are going to be able to use that SCSI machine is to get a SCSI Converter, which is going to be a lot more money that you have to spend than if you gone and even spend 100 bucks on.

Bob: When it just came with SCSI PC I card.

David Lawrence: Yeah and both that work fine on your machine?

Bob: Photo Shop wants to recognize it, it makes a scan when you try to acquire and then all of a sudden if snaps and it says it doesn*t, can*t find the scanner.

David Lawrence: Yeah, I don*t know that there is any drivers out there that are still supported for 9.2.2 but again that*s the first part of my question, why are you not on Mac OS X?

Bob: Well, for last couple of year we haven*t been able to afford it yet.
