Previously: Be Cooling Fan >>
Next: Wil on CSI, Yoo too and me again >>
Joe: And this seems in my mind to be getting way too complicated for the amount of time I really want to spend.
David Lawrence: So anyway.
Joe: You know what I mean.
David Lawrence: Yeah and I understand that the difference in price is high but remember you maybe able to recover some of that later on if you wait until he, well what you have son or daughter.
Joe: A little girl.
David Lawrence: Okay so you went to your daughters you know 3 or 4 years old maybe have a chance to breathe once they go after preschool you know then you might think about putting the DVD camera that you have been using faithfully for last 3 or 4 years up on eBay getting some of that money back and then buying a Mini DV and then sitting down and learning whatever the technology is going to be at that point you know iMovie 4.0 or whatever. And then starting to grab some of the stuff that you have used over time and starting to build that retrospective for whatever events going to occur in their teams that you can embarrass them out, right.
Joe: Okay so your guy at Max Smart there is no DVD camcorder that has the FireWire out.
David Lawrence: That*s what he is telling me via instant message and I believe him, alright.
Joe: Okay and one other quick question can you recommend any kind of software for like sort of bed and breakfast hotel reservations you know anything about that or?
David Lawrence: You mean to run bed in breakfast.
Joe: Yeah like a database type thing or you can plug in reservations and print out you know form letters and that kind of stuff.
David Lawrence: I don*t know but I do know that BNBlady.com which is kit casing him may have a lead on that for you. If you look at the kit casing him and I think it*s BNBlady.com she does reviews of BNB she does reviews of the business and stuff she may have a lead I am not sure if they are PC people or Mac people but I have a feeling that there is going to be some vertical software that*s either stand alone or is an overlay to either Excel or to FileMaker Pro. Because when I think of Bed and Breakfast people I think Macintosh when I think of Hotel I think PC.
Joe: We think yeah exactly and we are Macintosh and we are considering getting a new computer and we want to get a Mac do you see any downfall in a Mac versus a PC.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
