Joe: Well, we just had a baby and we are trying to buy a Camcorder and we kind of want to get the kind that records straight on to the DVD just for ease of shooting a movie and popping it right into the DVD player.

David Lawrence: Okay, I don't agree with that, but then -.

Joe: Okay, well that's another thing I wanted to ask you about but.

David Lawrence: Sure.

Joe: We have been looking and it*s seems like they are not compatible with Macintosh. And then the bigger question is it doesn*t need to be a compatible with Macintosh because when I just used Macintosh*s software if I was going to do any added in.

David Lawrence: Well you got to get the video into the Macintosh. The video and the audio into the Macintosh.

Joe: Okay.

David Lawrence: Usually that's a composed trivia of FireWire drive. That's why I don't think getting one with DVD thinking that you are going to take the DVD out, pop into the Macintosh and read off of it. That's not the way it works.

Joe: Well, no I am thinking that I am going to shoot the movie, take the DVD on and pop into my DVD player on the TV.

David Lawrence: Right.

Joe: And watch the movie.

David Lawrence: Yeah, okay I get that but where does the Macintosh go?

Joe: Well and that, that's the thing well if we want to edit the movies or do any kind of stuff with you know iMovie or whatever, does it need to be compatible or am I just you know * how am I transfer in the movies from my Camcorder on to my computer if I want to do anything with them. I am not even sure I want to do anything with them because if I am on speed I wouldn*t have any more time.

David Lawrence: And you might think over time that you know look I would love to sit there and mess around with this on the computer but you know the baby needs to eat every two hour.

Joe: Yeah exactly.

David Lawrence: And if I am not around I have to pump so.

Joe: Yeah.
