Eric: We cannot afford the iPod because of the battery. I go in the back country by packing and stuff.
David Lawrence: And where did you hear that the battery is bad.
Eric: It just doesn*t last long enough.
David Lawrence: 8 hours is long enough for you. The Real lasts longer.
Eric: It just takes one AA and I can bring.
David Lawrence: Oh I see it can be replaced I got you, alright.
Eric: I will go out for a week or so.
David Lawrence: I got you okay so this is a tough thing to do. It all requires you getting back to one central format and unfortunately Sony has A-track Real groks mp3 and Windows Media and the laptop and the desktop would do it wherever it tell it to. So that*s fine. Does the Sony Mini Disc Player allow you to save tracks out to MP3 as well?
Eric: Yeah I can run mp3 on it I just can*t I have recorded all my CDs on that when I got it in the Mini Disc where I can put 30 CDs on one disc. I threw them all away and think I won*t need them again and now can*t put them on the laptop.
David Lawrence: Wow! Okay what have you learnt from that?
Eric: Don*t trust Sony.

After a 30 year career on radio in markets from New York to San Francisco to satellite and network, David H. Lawrence XVII decided to make a change. He hung up his headphones and retired from hosting 3 network/satellite radio shows to head to Los Angeles, to concentrate solely on acting in front of the camera.
Lili VonSchtupp* needed a fresh start. She moved to Washington DC and got her dream job. "I did affiliate relations for Online Tonight with David Lawrence. I slowly worked my way into the producer's chair by impressing David with my assets. (not those assets), my ability to make a CAT5 cable Ethernet cable, type (those of you in the chat room-shut up!) and work a phone system.
