floating around going oh well my SMTP Server is down or I don*t know what to put in the SMTP Server slot. Usually it*s just simply the domain that you are using for email. Sometimes there will be a sub domain for it like mail.domain name goes here.com or mx. but you can get all that information from your ISP. Whoever you do your Email through they will know what your SMTP Server should be. They will also know what your POP Server should be. If there is FTP available all the other services that are available on servers. But SMTP is in a nutshell and to make it simple the way the Email is sent.
